It all
started the year I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Impossible! Almost vegan—great
lifestyle—even though I could get a little more exercise and eat a few less
calories!
Cancer was
not the reason for the plan—but it was a wake-up call. Kay, you’re not going to
be around forever. You can either live the rest of your life doing the
same-ole-same-ole—or you can live a dream—waking up each day with anticipation,
excitement, and joy knowing you’re in the process of creating something new,
amazing, and family centered.
That’s why
on July 1, my forty-year-old son, Kevin, came bouncing into the little studio
apartment through the bathroom that opens onto his house and announced, “Mom,
we have it! The Kuzma Plan!
I swiveled
around in my chair, and wrinkled my brow and said, “The Kuzma Plan?”
